STIMPath is a structured treatment model developed by BrainStim to provide patients with a clear, supportive, and individualized journey toward mental wellness. Designed by our clinical team, STIMPath ensures that every phase of care from intake to long-term support is delivered with consistency and compassion. This framework reflects our commitment to patient-centered treatment, clinical excellence, and long-term recovery.

Step 1: Send Us a Referral
Start by having your healthcare provider- a GP or Psychiatrist to fax or email us a referral form. Alternatively, patients can self-refer by contacting our clinic directly and we will submit a referral request to your provider on your behalf. We’ll follow up promptly to schedule your initial assessment.

Step 2: Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Our psychiatrist will conduct a full psychiatric assessment to:
- Confirm your diagnosis.
- Review your medical and mental health history.
- Determine if Deep TMS and/or Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is appropriate for you.
This evaluation ensures your treatment plan is safe, targeted, and personalized.
Coverage Info: This assessment is fully covered by MSP with a valid referral, ensuring access and continuity of care.

Step 3: Personalized Treatment Plan with On-site Psychiatrist and Multidisciplinary team
Based on your evaluation, we will create a personalized treatment protocol tailored to your clinical profile.
Our multidisciplinary team on-site includes psychiatrists, registered therapist (RCC/CCC), and registered nurse or nurse practitioner, and certified TMS technicians.

Deep TMS Treatment Pathway
- Standard Protocol: 5 sessions per week for 6 weeks (on average).
- Accelerated Protocol: 6 sessions daily over 5 consecutive days for rapid symptom relief.
- Non-invasive, Minimal side effects, no downtime.
- Can be a stand-alone treatment or used adjunctively with psychotherapy or KAP.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Pathway
- Typically includes 6 sessions, spaced weekly or biweekly.
- Each session lasts 2–3 hours, with: Ketamine administration (IM).
- Each Ketamine session is followed by a post-session Integration therapy within 72 hours.

- Supervised by an onsite psychiatrist.

Spaced Weekly or Biweekly

Duration:
Each session lasts 2–3 hours

Ketamine Administration:
Intramuscular (IM) ketamine is administered in a safe, controlled setting

Integration Therapy
A follow-up therapy session occurs within 72 hours to process the experience

Multidisciplinary Team Support:
- Supervised by an on-site psychiatrist
- Vitals monitored by a registered nurse
- A licensed therapist is present throughout the session

Treatment Flexibility:
Can be used as a stand-alone treatment or combined with TMS

Step 4: Follow-Up with Psychiatrist
During the treatment course, you will meet with our psychiatrist to review your progress, discuss outcomes, and address any ongoing needs. Adjustments to your care plan will be made if necessary.

Step 5: Maintenance & Support
For sustained results, we offer optional maintenance sessions, check-ins, and integration with psychotherapy or other mental wellness supports. Our team will help you plan what comes next, so you stay well beyond.
