Legion Veterans Village Research Foundation and BrainStim Health are partnering to investigate a new brain stimulation program.
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a non-invasive, drug-free therapy designed to support brain function, improve emotional wellbeing, and reduce physical pain.
Recruitment is now open. We welcome anyone who is eligible and interested.
Eligibility for TMS Therapy:
Before beginning treatment, patients undergo a comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluation.
An individual is eligible for TMS therapy if they are:
Veterans, aged 19+
Must be B.C. resident
Experiencing chronic pain and PTSD
Able to attend all visits and complete assessments
An individual is not eligible for TMS therapy if they have:
Metal implants near the head
Active seizures
Active substance use disorder
Pregnancy and/or nursing
